The Middlesex Magic went 5-0 this past weekend to take the championship at the New England AAU Super Regional. New Hampton’s post-graduate forward Thomas Bropleh has made a commitment to Boise State University for next season where he will play for newly appointed head coach Leon Rice. The Boston Herald reported on Monday that Carson Desrosiers met with new Wake Forest head coach Jeff Bzdelik on Sunday and reaffirmed his commitment to the ACC school following the meeting. CBC won their second tournament title in as many weekends on Sunday, defeating Connecticut Select 94-54 in the finals of BasketBull’s New England Championships. CBC opened their grassroots season last weekend by claiming victory at the Northeast Hoops Festival. The White team won their pool by smacking Team Delaware 80-36 and then scoring a victory over YAAACE, the national champions from Canada, 49-42.
